Install

Requirements: git, node, atom

Run the following command to see if all requirements are met. You should be looking for 3 things: git, apm, and npm. If there all listed and have version numbers, all requirements are met.

apm -v

If all requirements are met continue to configure dotatom locally:

git clone https://github.com/arakilian0/dotatom.git
cd dotatom
npm install
apm link

Usage

Step 1.

Here is an example of a typical project structure for Node apps:

> your-project
  > node_modules
    package-lock.json
    package.json
    README.md
Step 2.

Modify your project to include the following:

> your-project
  > .atom
      settings.json
  > node_modules
    package-lock.json
    package.json
    README.md
Step 3.

Here is an example of a valid 'settings.json' file:

{
  "ignore": [
    "node_modules",
    "package-lock*"
  ]
}
Step 4.

Activate the package from the Packages menu
