Linkist
Creates link IDs that connect documents, even if you move them around.
Get it
- Open Atom.
- Type
Ctrl+,
and clickInstall
. - Type
linkist
and install.
Use it
- To create a link ID, type
Ctrl+Alt+L
and an ID like^A2aM^
will appear. - Go to another location and type
Ctrl+Alt+I
to insert another copy of that link ID. - Put your cursor on any link and type
Ctrl+Alt+L
to cycle through other places with the same ID.

- By default
*.md
and*.txt
files are searched. You can change this in Settings. - Unlinked IDs will flash when you activate one with
Ctrl+Alt+L
